We are so excited to have been the sponsor for this year's Baby Crawl during Kids Day today at Steamboat Days! This was our first year covering the event and it was so fun to watch all the little babies figure out how to get to the other side of the carpet! Our first place winners of the 0-9 month category received a Sweetie Pie (in studio or home) session and a Punkin' Collection and second place received a Sweetie Pie session. First place winners of the 9-12 month category won a Curious Bee session (any location of their choice) and a Punkin' Collection and second place took home a Curious Bee session. We are so proud of all of our little contestants and congratulations to our winners! See you next year!

While most babies were crying from the anxiety of getting across the carpet, little Mr. Cameron smiled and charmed his way right down to the finish line!  Isn't he adorable? 

Miss Madelyn is on a mission!  She is bound and determined to take first place and she did!  She wasted no time at all to get to her mommy on the other side.

She made it!!

Brooklyn decided she was over crawling already!  She's 12 months and a fast learner! She wasted no time as she ran to the finish line.

Poor Bryson!  Carter, middle, isn't too sure about all this business either...and Gwen looks a little worried herself, left.  Don't you wonder what is going through their little heads right about now? 

Our second place finisher, Hannah, crawls quickly to her mom on the other side.  I think all of the people and commotion was a bit much for some of the babies!  So fun to watch their expressions though!

Steamboat Days Baby Crawl

Big sister, Ayla, would like to introduce her sweet baby sister, Kyndal Ann, to everyone!  Ayla loves to hold her and kiss on her and its the sweetest thing to see!  I remember photographing Ayla when she was this little and it's so hard to believe Nic and Andrea have two sweet little girls now!  I enjoyed every minute of photographing their precious little ones and seeing them again.  This is why photographing weddings is so special because then you have their babies to look forward to!

Love this sweet little newborn cap we just got in! Kyndal was just an angel and slept through it all! 

Isn't she the sweetest little thing?  Kyndal was two weeks and one day for her photoshoot.  She was absolutely perfect the entire time.  We were able to get some neat black and white images with her mommy and daddy, grandma and grandpa and her big sister.  This is why we like to get our little babies in when they are 1-2 weeks old, because you can usually get the best of both worlds; when they're awake and sleeping.

What a little punkin'.

This was a fun session for Logan's 18 month photographs!  Her mom picked an antique dress and hat and her pearls just top it off!  Logan was just precious and her big brother Nicholas was eager to help any way he could!  We've been photographing Logan since she was barely sitting up so to see her walking all around is just crazy!  Check out some of our favs.

I love her sweet look in these photographs.  Her mommy's pearls made the images perfect!

Logan's aunt owns Cobblestone Classics and it made for a perfect backdrop for our antique theme.  We loved the chairs and courtyard and so did she!

It's amazing the reaction you can get when you talk to little boys about picking boogers and farting!

We found the perfect little rose garden to complete our ensemble downtown.  Isn't she the sweetest?

And this is why we LOVE babies and we have created baby plans...can you believe how much baby Jayden has changed in a matter of 10 weeks?! He has started filling out so much already! As you can tell, he still very much enjoys his sleep though!

Babies absolutely fascinate me, I could photograph them all day long and be a happy little camper.  They are so incredible precious and they are filled with so much magic, I think.

I gotta share with you our newest and sweetest prop, our baby stork pouch and hammock!  Babies LOVE hanging around in these!  I think because they are so warm and bundled up and it feels much like being swaddled.  Isn't he sweet? 

 

We learn relaxation at a very early age.

Jayden was so serious this afternoon and made us work extra hard making crazy obnoxious noises for even a smirk! :)  I loved every minute of it though!

  Getting so big already...he loved sitting up and watching everyone and everything around him.  Bright colors were fascinating to him!

Hey, when did I get these?!  He could stare non stop at both of his arms and hands as if they were the coolest invention since milk.
